A factory worker who tutored Quran in the evenings for fifty years without ever charging a child.

Born in pre-Partition Lahore. Came to Bradford in 1962.

Worked at a textile mill, then a packaging factory. Retired in 1999.
Taught thousands of children to read the Qur'an. The condolences at his janazah were in five languages.
